MoovEducators: Help your educators make movement part of every day
A guided four-month movement education journey for early years teams
Build confident educators through practical movement training and support.
Movement resources are valuable; knowing how to use them makes a difference.
Educators understand that young children need regular opportunities to move. The challenge is finding the time, confidence and structure to make movement a consistent part of the day.
Your team may be wondering:
- Which movement skills should we teach first?
- How can we fit movement into an already busy routine?
- Which activities suit our children and available space?
- How can we help educators feel more confident?
- How do we keep going after the initial enthusiasm wanes?
- How do we recognise if a child is facing challenges?
MoovEducators provides a clearer path forward.
Instead of giving your team another large library to explore alone, Darlene helps educators focus on what to teach, how to introduce it and how to gradually build movement into their setting.
Darlene developed this guided approach after recognising that access to resources alone does not always lead to regular use. Busy educators often need practical direction, encouragement and a manageable starting point.
What is MoovEducators?
MoovEducators is a four-month guided collaboration for organisations working with young children.
It combines early years movement training with practical implementation support and access to selected MoovKids activities and resources.
The collaboration is led by Darlene Koskinen, founder of MoovKids and an experienced children’s movement educator. Each month, she helps participating teams understand their next area of focus and put it into practice in a realistic way.
The current MoovKids offer structure includes monthly webinars, bite-sized implementation steps, support, mentoring and access to the MoovKids platform and resources.
Who is it for?
MoovEducators is designed for:
- Kindergartens and early years centers
- Nurseries and preschools
- Primary or elementary schools
- After-school programs
- Center directors and school leaders
- Early years teachers and educator teams
It may be especially helpful when educators lack confidence teaching movement, resources are not being used consistently, or leaders want a practical way to make movement part of the organisation’s routine.
What the collaboration may include
Monthly live training
Darlene introduces each month’s focus, explains key movement concepts and shows educators how to apply them.
Manageable implementation steps
Your team receives practical actions to complete between sessions, helping movement become part of the routine without creating unnecessary pressure.
Fundamental movement skills guidance
Educators develop their understanding of balance, locomotor movement, manipulative skills, stability and spatial awareness.

Practical activities and resources
Training is supported by relevant MoovKids videos, activity ideas, lesson resources and implementation guidance.

Guidance for center or school leaders
Managers can be supported with encouraging staff participation, maintaining consistency and helping the wider team move forward together.
