Throw, bounce, catch

Throw, Bounce, Catch — manipulative skills

Benefits: Hand-eye coordination, understanding of velocity, and directional movement.

Beanbag Attack — dynamic balance

Benefits: Agility, spatial awareness, and visual acuity.

Designed for busy early years settings

The lesson can be used in:

  • Kindergartens and early years centers
  • Nurseries and preschools

  • After-school programs
  • Homeschool settings
  • Small-group movement sessions

Use all four activities as one complete lesson or introduce them individually at different points during the day.

Activities can be used during planned movement sessions, morning circle, classroom breaks, transitions or outdoor play.
